The White Russian is a drink everyone should know. It's a simple, creamy vodka mixed drink with a nice coffee flavor that makes a great after dinner sipper. The related drink list to the White Russian is almost endless.

1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz Kahlua
3/4 oz cream

Preparation: Pour the vodka and Kahlua into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Stir. Gently top with the cream.

About the book:
Fallen angels… They rule Moscow’s seedy underworld, promising untold pleasure to the females who dare to mate them. That promise – and Brends Duranov’s own raw sexual power – has hopefuls mobbing the velvet rope outside his elite club G2’s.
But Mischka Baran has no intention of hooking up with one of the Fallen. Not even after Brends gives her an unforgettable taste of the sin and seduction he can deliver with those wicked lips. She’s after information, not a stint as some Goblin’s toy of the month. What she doesn’t know is that with a sadistic killer carving up his brethren, Brends is playing for keeps, hunting the one woman whose bloodline can end the mayhem, whose bond can restore his lost wings.

Shannon's Thoughts:
I haven't really been into the Angel books (fallen, good, bad, etc), but I've decided that I really like Anne Marsh's Fallen Angels.  They're gritty with an IDGAF attitude that I'm sure most of us would have if they were wrongly accused of heinous crimes and cast out of heaven.

The author set up the start to this series perfectly with Brends and Mischka's story.  Who would have thought that after 3000 years in banishment, this group of Fallen would stumble upon their elusive soul mates or who/what is behind them being elusive for so long.

But it's Brends and Mischka that really draw you into the story.  They have some pretty harsh prejudices and trust issues that almost make their relationship seem impossible.  Not to mention Mischka is one strong woman and does not bend to the whims of a very dominate Brends.  Every paragraph these two are together has you wondering if they'll start throwing blows at each other or ripping clothes off.

  1. I just finished reading His Dark Bond and am in the middle of writing my review and I just loved it! After I finished reading Bond With Me, I went to her site to see if she had anymore books. Unfortunately at that time she didn't. I literally have been stalking her site each week to see if she has anything else coming out to follow BWM and one night a a couple weeks before Christmas, Anne Marsh herself messaged me if I was interested in receiving a copy of His Dark Bond!! You don't know how excited that made me. If you think BWM was good, just wait until you read HDB!! Anne can't write these books fast enough for me!

  2. Anne sent me His Dark Bond, which I can't wait to start today! I'm totally sucked into the series. Imagine, Bond With Me has been sitting, unread, on my Kindle since this summer. A thousand feather light slashes for me! LOL!

  3. This sounds like a good read. I will have to look for it at my library. I am not a huge fan of Angels, they seem to be getting a lot of attention lately and it is getting to be a little too much. However, this story sounds different from the others.

  5. @Kristin It really is a good series. It's a little darker than any others I have read which makes it so different. The bonding with them also makes them different. Either way, it's a great book!

@C&B I can't believe you let BWM sit on your TBR pile!! Lol. Don't feel bad, I'm pretty sure I have some great books lurking in my gigantic TBR pile myself.
