And he certainly never expected to be injured, only to wake up with no memory of who he is. But when he sees the fiery-haired beauty who's taken it upon herself to rescue him, suddenly his memory is the last thing on his mind.

Georgia Milton, the young head of New York's notorious Forty Thieves, feels responsible for the man who was trying to save her bag from a thief. But she's not prepared for the fierce passion he ignites within her. When his memory begins to return, her whole world is threatened, and Roderick must choose between the life he forgot and the life he never knew existed.…
Georgia, a headstrong Irish-American. Who dreams of going west and making a better life for herself. After the death of her husband Georgia starts working hard to earn the money to make her way to Ohio, and build a farm for herself, to get aw ay from five points New York, NY.

Robinson a man with no idea who he is. After being by an Omni Robinson forgot who was. Basing his name and some his history on a book. Thinking it was what happened to him.

Georgia feeling guilty because Robinson got hit while trying to get her purse back for her, takes Robinson in after the hospital releases him.

The two strike up a friendship of sorts that quickly turns to love.

Though from to very different worlds. Robinson turns out to be a heir to a dukedom. Together the face several challenges and work hard to over come them and to see past each others stations in life.

The secondary characters are amazing you really feel drawn into 1830 New York. The descriptions were amazing I felt as though I was seeing, smelling and hearing what the characters were.

The romance between Georgia and Robinson was sizzling. The sex scenes were very steamy. The whole plot went on smoothly and seamlessly.

I really enjoyed the interaction between all the character all I can say is Fover and a day is now of my favorites

  1. I love historical romances and this one set in 1830s NYC make it kind of unique. I will be putting this on my wish list.

    Thanks for the review!
