Follow Friday

Q: What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?

A:   I would prefer to read a favorite over and over again.  I want to read something that captures my attention.  With an old favorite, there is always something that will pull me in...even if i know exactly what is going to happen when I turn the page.  That one book would leave me feeling satisfied when I get to the end, where those mediocre books will always leave me wanting something.

How about you?

  1. I have to agree with you. I always feel disappointed after reading a mediocre book. I could have been reading something so much better.

  3. Hi! New follower. (I choose linky followers to follow you :) )

It's true that reading a mediocre book always leaves me wishing for something more, but at the same time, I want my favourite book to remain on its pedestal of favourite-ness. I'd hate to end up "sick of" my favourite book. :(

You can find my FF here.

    Have a great weekend!

  4. I guess we wouldn't have found our favourites if we didn't read some mediocre books alongside. Still, I'd go for my favourites.

    Happy Friday!

  11. For me since I know what's going to happen sometimes it gets annoying re-reading favorites, especially if a heroine is being difficult and you know how it's going to end up anyway.
