Owen Mason Gentry: Owen is an artist using other people’s confessions to make his paintings.
Auburn Mason Reed: Auburn is a woman whom fate has drawn to Confession’s door looking for a job.
Fate brought Owen and Auburn together. After finding out more about one another how could they have any doubt? Their connection via confessions is something that only fate can do. They were both tested and both sacrificed much on behalf of loved ones, but the sacrifice at the end made them both miserable and see that it was doing more harm than good.
Confess had everything that Colleen is famous for: a great story, an even greater love story, two people fighting to be together, people trying to keep them apart, secrets, and side characters that you’re either going to love or love to hate. I would have to say that in Confess I wound up hating only 2 of the side characters. Oh and please let us not forget the ability to make us cry in all her books.

When I read a book that will leave me emotionally drained after reading it. I cry like a baby.
