Being kidnapped by bikers is a harrowing experience, but for some reason, Laurie doesn’t feel as terrified as she should.Β  The leader’s steely eyes soften when he looks at her, and the others in his gang clearly know she’s hands off.Β  But does that include Steele's hands?Β  Her brain resists him, but her body insists she wants those big hands all over her.Steele doesn’t know how he wound up in this messβ€”withΒ a kidnapped woman on his hands and the police hot on their trail.Β  NowΒ he and Laurie areΒ in hiding at an isolated cabin, and Steele has to figure out how to extricate himself...and steer clear of his accidental captive whose tight, slinky clubbing attire is making him think all kinds of dangerous thoughts…

Susan’s Thoughts

Another great book by Ms. Opal Carew. Loved the storyline, the characters and just plain loved it. Laurie has been dating Donovan for several months he was sweet in the beginning but has been becoming more controlling and abusive. They are celebrating their 6 month anniversary at a bar that just so happens to be the same bar where a badass MC club is celebrating the birthday of their leader, Steele. Laurie’s brother feels that something is up with Donovan so he uses his connections to have her kidnapped but Steele is not onboard with the idea, it appears to him that Laurie and Donovan are happy togetherΒ  but when he leaves the bar he tells one of his buddies to keep an eye on Laurie and it doing so he sees Donovan become physical with Laurie and has no choice but to rescue/kidnap her. Laurie is thrown into the MC life which is so different from what she has known. She tries to escape several times without success and the tension and attraction between her and Steele really heats up. This story has lots of twists and turns that keep you reading to the end.
