Sheri’s Thoughts

Second chance romances are some of my favorites, throw in two K9 dogs that almost upstage the main characters of this story, and I was totally in love with this book. Cole and Scott are definitely meant for each other, but they let youth and Scott’s undercover work to come between them.

I loved that Scott totally wanted Cole back in his life, and she did too, but she made him work for it. The story also had a great suspense and mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Hugo, Cole’s K9 partner made me smile and curious enough to check out his breed, and he definitely stole the scenes he was in. His love for Cole was amazing, and how he reacts to Scott at times was hilarious.

I really enjoyed this story, and will be looking forward to more stories from this author because she brings real characters to life, and pairs them with fun antics of their K9 friends.
