Rina’s Thoughts
I truly enjoyed this book. William and May, two people completely opposite of each other and those differences are what brought them together. A conservative Duke and a free spirit Miss with different opinions and always clashed every time they were together. They could fight over a piece of bread if it was brought up to debate. These characters kept me engaged and entertained through out the book.
The book moved in a steady pace and the author permitted us to get to know these characters individually and it was impossible not to fall in love with them, to despair with them and yet hope that they would somehow find a way to each other despite the continent between them. I loved watching them fall in love with each other.
But I will say the end was a little too predictable. I wish she’d gone away and come back– but that was the making of another book.
Truly and engaging read and I look forward to reading the other books in the series.
