After dreaming of him for months, Candy can’t believe the 1Night Stand dating service has found a man fitting the description of her ideal lover. After all, her dream man is no other than A-list actor, Jared Harwell, and since she’ll never have him, she’ll settle for a close match.

Shapeshifter Jared Harwell is ready to call it quits—his acting career and Hollywood lifestyle—if he can find the mate he’s searching for. But, evidently, his perfect mate is only to be found in his nocturnal dreams and the closest he’ll ever get to her is with the help of Madame Eve’s 1Night Stand service. And even then, it’s only one night with a fantasy lookalike.

Will that be enough time for Candy and Jared to realize dreams truly can come true?

After dreaming of her perfect man, who just happened to be the spiting image of the hottest actor in the world Candy decides to bite the bullet and contact Madame Eve with very specific requests. As Madame Eve is wont to do, she finds the perfect match. In this case, Candy gets exactly what she asked for, except instead of someone who resembles her favorite actor, she’s getting the real deal. Jared, tired of people wanting to be with him just because of who he is has contacted Madame Eve for one night. He’s willing to settle down with what the media and the world think should be his partner for the rest of his life, but first he just needs one night where he can be with the type of woman he wants. Jared’s reasoning alone had this cold heart of mine doing flips at the potential “aww” moments to be had.

A 1Night stand release; It was Always You was understandably short but packed with story. I greatly enjoyed this short release and look forward to reading more by this new to me author. My only complaint, if I am forced to list one is that it was indeed very short. I would love to have read more about these characters.
