[Siren Everlasting Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Fantasy Paranormal Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, HEA] By the King's Command... Called before the new king, Laird Artur was shocked to see his old lover walking through the door. His anger ignites when the king commands them to mate and fortify his borders to the north. He is heartbroken when he discovers that his new mate has no recollection of their time together. Can he forgive Daineal and let go of the past to build a future or will his resentment end what they could have before it begins? Laird Daineal balks at being commanded to mate, especially to a man he knows has to be insane. Despite how much Artur insists that they have met before, Daineal has no memory of the man. And he would have remembered a man that was so sexy he made Daineal's teeth ache. Commanded by their king to establish a stronghold to the north, Artur and Daineal have to fight not only their past but those that want to keep them from their future. When betrayal comes from within, the bond between them may be the only thing that saves them. ** A Siren Erotic Romance

In another installment of the “King’s Command Series”, Olivia Black and Stormy Glenn have given me the pleasure of reading one of the best MM, erotic romance series ever.Β  It has a little bit of everything…action, intrigue, romance, and insanely awesome sex (definitely have to mention that one).

A quick rundown.Β  There is a new king, and in order to protect his new kingdom from all enemies, he’s decided to mate a dragon to a human from all areas so that the kingdom would be better protected.Β  Laird Artur (human) and Laird Daineal (dragon) have an extremely rocky start.Β  You see, Artur and Daineal have known each other for a very long time, but Daineal doesn’t remember any of it.Β  This story includes a lot of family intrigue.Β  Daineal’s brother is…well…he’s an ass in dragon form.Β  He’s VERY angry about dragons coexisting with humans, and he challenges Daineal for leadership of the clutch.

One of the things I liked best about “Highland Heart” was the action…swords, dragons fighting in the sky, enemies rapelling into the keep…it was great!Β  There is violence, but it’s not overwhelming or over the top.Β  I know that fans of “Outlander” or “Braveheart” will understand what I’m talking about.Β  Aside from that, the romance between Artur and Dainael was so perfect.Β  While they are great warriors, the tender moments between them will melt your heart.Β  Their sex is heated enough to melt your Kindle, but it was their true love for one another that brought this book to full circle.

As I mentioned, this one book out of a series of four.Β  It can be read as a stand alone because there is enough exposition to understand what is going on with the new king and his reasoning behind his mating of dragons and humans.Β  They can be read in any order, and they all will suck you into their world.Β  I thoroughly enjoyed “Highland Heart”, and I will recommend it to anyone who loves MM erotic romance with a bit of the paranormal thrown in.
