Blog Tour Review & Giveaway: Before and After – Nazarea Andrews

BEFORE AND AFTER was one of the books that you couldn’t put down.  Told in alternating POVs between the past and present, Nazarea Andrews gave us an all encompassing view of the romance between Rike and Peyton.  It was beautiful, painful and an absolute pleasure to follow.

I loved Rike and Peyton.  They were both gritty and a bit beaten down by things from their pasts, but when they were together, nothing else matter but the two of them.  So it broke my heart a little bit as the present story unfolded and I realized what an uphill climb this couple had.  You understood, right away, what it cost Rike, even if Peyton didn’t.  This probably sounds very cryptic, but I don’t want to give the story away.  This is one of those books where the reader needs to experience it, from the very beginning, with a blank slate.  You want to be surrounded by the pain, the building friendship, the love and the desperation of this couple as they work their way back to happily ever after.

Nazarea Andrews never disappoints me with her books.  I always know I’m in for an emotional roller coaster, but this one was especially touching.  If you’re looking for a book with a shy, sexy hero who is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he keeps the love of his life, BEFORE AND AFTER is definitely a book to pick up.
