[Siren Everlasting Classic ManLove: Erotic Alternative Sci-Fi Romance, M/M, shape-shifters, HEA]Elves are from Venus, wolf shifters from Mars. Vampires come from Saturn. Humans live on Earth... and one man is king of them all...and it sucks to be the king. There have been a lot of changes in Nicky’s life recently. Cooper stands by His side as his lover and his champion and Nicky is learning what it means to be king of the galaxy. And as long as he has Cooper, he knows there is nothing he can’t face.Life had been full of changes for Cooper Walsh since he claimed Nicky as his own. Flying through the stars as the consort of a king seems insignificant compared to the changes he is seeing within himself both physically and mentally. But not everyone is happy that Nicky has become king. Some want the throne for themselves, and some want Nicky. When the king’s flagship is attacked, Cooper finds there is more to his new life than simply being the new king’s consort. He can only hope that Nicky will still want him as he becomes something not seen in the galaxy in centuries…but first he has to find Nicky, and that might not be so easy when everyone around him believes Nicky is dead.http://www.bookstrand.com/to-keep-a-king

“To Keep a King” is the sequel to “To Take a King”, which I LOVED.Β  It’s such a unique concept. In “To Take a King” we learned that Nick loved CooperΒ for years and years, even though he thought Coop was straight.Β  Cooper loved Nicky and did everything he could to protect him ever since they were fiveΒ years old.Β  On Nicky’s 25ty birthday, they finally come together and admit their love for each other only to have their world rocked.Β  Some men appear,Β put Nicky’s brother and friends in comas, shoot Cooper, and take him away.Β  Turns out, Nick is King of the solar system.Β  Yes…you heard me.Β  King ofΒ the Solar System.Β  Turns out he’s a Venutian (from Venus), and it’s time to claim his kingdom.Β  Through some dangerous, but exciting, events, Nicky andΒ Coop are finally reuinted, and they set off on new adventures together.

In “To Keep a King”, Coop is Nicky’s royal consort, and he is still doing everything he can to protect Nicky.Β  Nicky’s brother is now with them, andΒ their friends seem to be recovering nicely.Β  One day, their ship is attacked by some very dangerous people, and Cooper undergoes a few…changes…whileΒ searching the galaxy for his beloved.

A lot of things are going on in this story.Β  It’s all very exciting.Β  A king is bound to have enemies, right?Β  This particular enemy is is doubly evil,Β and that means doubly frightening.Β  I enjoyed the action and battle scenes.Β  An “erotic romance” book can’t exist on love and sex alone.Β  Stormy GlennΒ always writes these scenes extremely well.Β  Her imagination is off the charts, and her style is detailed, so the reader can see everything in theirΒ mind’s eye.Β  However, since I mentioned love and sex, I have to tell you that Ms. Glenn writes THAT nicely also.Β  The tenderness between Nicky andΒ Cooper is obvious, and the sex?Β  WHEW!Β  Very, very hot stuff!

I was so satisfied with this second installment in the “Venusian” trilogy.Β  Now, I’m looking so forward to book number three.
