The New York Times bestselling authors of the Masters of Ménage series present the third scintillating novel featuring the privileged, wealthy, wild men of Creighton Academy—the Perfect Gentlemen.
Years ago, Naval officer Dax Spencer and NCIS agent Holland Kirk indulged in a steamy affair—until she betrayed him in the wake of his father’s death. Dax tried to put her behind him with a payback of his own. But he never forgot Holland…
Now, as Dax and his fellow Perfect Gentlemen unravel a web of lies, he discovers his family’s tragedy is part of a much larger conspiracy. Soon, all clues point him back to New Orleans…where Holland waits, protecting her deadly secret and holding a torch for the only man she’s ever loved.
Once reunited, they can’t fight the passion flaring hot and wild. But something sinister lurks around every corner, from the elegance of the Garden district to the beauty of the bayou. Dax and Holland may find their way back to each other—if they survive...

Amazing and Sexy!

Naval Officer Dax Spencer is a reformed playboy. He’s rich, handsome and ambitious. He’s been coined “Captain Awesome” by his peers and he’s part of the widely known Perfect Gentleman’s club the media salivates to write stories about. He seems to have it all .. except the one woman he can’t stop thinking about.

Holland Kirk is a NCIS agent. She’s a bit reserved, she’s ambitious and she knows the one thing that could derail her from her goals is Dex Spencer, which is why she decided long ago to stay away from him, along with the press and women that try to court him.

But when he comes to her for help after the death of his father, she’s helpless to tell him no.

Dax and Holland were so well written. Dax waited patiently for a decade to take his shot with Holland and the authors did a fantastic job showing his longing but also his strength. He was gentle and understanding but he was also the alpha male who was determined to have his woman!

Holland was fearful of what could happen if she just let go with Dax so she resisted for years, but when she finally let her walls down, she opened to him and their chemistry was smokin’ hot!

Along with Dax and Holland, the authors provide a bevy of fun, exciting and creative characters who stand out on their own. I loved reading about them all and I’m going to have to go back and read the first books so I can get their stories also.

There’s a huge conspiracy surrounding the characters and this series. In this book, Dax is determined to find out more about his father’s death. The action starts right from the beginning of their investigation and there seem to be people who will stop at nothing, including murder, to keep their secrets hidden. I loved how the mystery unfolded little by little, all the while a hot romance was playing out between the mains.

This book has a fantastic story with amazing writing. It had an intriguing mystery and enough suspense and action to keep me glued to the pages. But I felt like something was missing … and that’s totally on me. I was a little lost in the beginning because this is an ongoing series and I should have read the previous books so I knew all the character backstories. The mystery and conspiracy spans over the entire series so I missed the beginnings of it by not having read the previous books. But I plan to rectify that! I’m going back to the beginning so I can see how this all started.

Great writing, sexy and intriguing story with amazing characters make this a must-read.
