A sexy tease of a read. Friends who so desperately want to be lovers but don’t want to lose the friendship. Oh the agony. You the reader will feel this agony through the whole book. Ever hear the term you have to warm the skillet before you cook something on it. Well, in Ladies Man there is so much warming up between Tahoe and Gina that when it finally happens, it is scorching.
Katy teases you with all the flirting and innuendos for most of the book. It is a slow build up and it paid off for us.
Both Gina and Tahoe have their issues as to why they can’t be together but Gina just wants her shot. Just all the other ladies had. But then feeling will get involved and she is not ready to get hurt if they are not returned. So she settles. Tahoe hates that she settled but knows he is not good for her either. What’s a guy to do? He wakes up and smells the coffee. Gina is too good to just settle. If she is ever to settle she will settle for someone who deserves her.
Though it is a standalone I suggest that you read the whole Manwhore Series so you are familiar with the other characters. If you haven’t you may get lost. But for the most part, you will follow along. Let Tahoe guide you.
