For anyone who has read the Rosemary Beach series, you know Nan. We all know Nan. We all have a Nan in our life, right? The girl that just can’t be nice…has the world at her feet…but throws it all away. She doesn’t deserve a HEA, right? Well, Abbi Glines begs to differ in Up in Flames.
Up in Flames is high drama and doesn’t have a single slow moment. I don’t want to give away too much because there are quite a few plot twists but I can say this: Nan is put through the wringer and then some. Does she deserve it…probably. Is it a fun read….absolutely.
I like to think Abbi did a good job and took a character that wasn’t at all likeable and redeemed her a bit. You will not be disappointed in the final installment of the Rosemary Beach series. I am sad to say goodbye to this cast of characters but Abbi definitely took them out with a bang. Villians deserve happiness, too and Nan got a little slice of it!
