I am really enjoying this series – I do have to warn readers though, if you have read Splendor in the Inevitable series, this is close to the same story with some new content to help drive the story within the new Splendor trilogy.

Crave starts shortly after where Covet left off.  Ian is looking for a way to finally tell Tessa how he feels, while Tessa is still trying to find her way on her own.  I was happy that the love story between Ian and Tessa takes off fairly quickly and Ms. Nissenson doesn’t make us wait.  I do have to say once the love story takes off it really takes off, the heat from Ian and Tessa is sizzling off the page.  Told in dual POV’s you get a view of what is going on with both Ian and Tessa.  I do have to say there is a lot of sex which I loved but can see it being distracting for others.

If you are a fan of the author’s other books, you do get to see Nathan and Julia from Serendipity and in Crave and I really enjoyed having them in the story.  The other great thing that Ms. Nissenson does so well is having her different storylines run parallel with each other.  So you get to see different events from other characters POVs and there are other cameos that are fun throughout the story.   If I had 1 concern I would have liked a little more conflict – Ian and Tessa against the world.  There is some towards the end of the book with some of the previous characters from Crave, I would have like a little more.

The great news is that there is still 1 more book in this trilogy which I can’t wait for – this is a great middle story in this fabulous trilogy.
