These Royals will ruin you…
From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.
Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.
Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.
No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all. They may be right.
With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

Q: Are you trying to kill us?
No, but we love Ella so much and her adventures with the Royals that we needed to write this third book. You’ll see when you read it.
Q: Who’s in this book? And don’t say Ella!
Ella, the five Royal brothers, and a few more huge surprises.

This series has been my guilty pleasure. A little Mean Girls, 90210, Melrose Place and Dynasty all rolled into one. With the Reed and Ella storyline coming to a close I wondered how the author was going to pull off the surprise at the end of BROKEN PRINCE. I have to say they did an awesome job.

Brooke was dead. Reed was accused. Steven was back. Those three things were enough to keep me up all night wondering WTF was going to happen next. This intricately woven mess kept me guessing: Who killed Brooke? Who was setting up Reed? And what was up with Steve? But more importantly, these three things helped the Royals (as least those under Callum’s roof) to remember the true meaning of family.

The Royals had forgotten what it meant to be family. The death of Maria altered everyone’s perception about what family meant and what they did for one another. Ella brought that meaning back to them, especially in this book. They rallied behind Ella and Reed. When things looked darkest, the vowed to take care of one another. It was nice to see, especially when I always suspected that these selfish men weren’t really that selfish.

Everything tied up fairly neatly at the end. It came about rather quickly (I would have liked a little more groveling and ass kicking), but it was a satisfying ending to such a hot mess. I’m hoping this isn’t the last time we see the Royals clan. It feels like there are many more stories there.
