Wow, what a great way to end a fantastic series!

Easy”Alex” Rogers has been in love with Dani Peterson for years.  Since she was married to his commander and best friend he knew that nothing would ever come of it.  Then when Dani’s husband died on a mission everything changed.  Vowing to be there for Dani during the difficult time it starts to become harder for Easy to stay just friends with Dani – the after one heated afternoon everything changes.

Dani has spent the last year mourning the death of her husband and really her life as a fighter pilot’s wife.  Easy has been Dani’s rock but the more time they spend together the more her feelings start to change.   Can she move on, should she?

I have loved this series since the beginning and have been waiting for Easy and Dani’s book and I am so happy Chanel Cleeton did not disappoint.  The emotions that these 2 characters go through was heartbreaking and so real.  Told in dual POV’s you go through an emotional journey; the love Easy feels that he can’t act on and the guilt of moving on with her life and not wanting to that Dani is going through.  There were multiple times reading this that I tears going down my face and not even realizing it.  The subtility of Ms. Cleeton’s writing was so well done, you as the reader don’t even realize it happened.  We do get to see Becca and Thor and Jordon and Burn but make no mistake this is definitely Easy and Dani’s love story.

A great romance that as a standalone is fantastic but if you get a chance to read the entire Wild Aces series you won’t be disappointed
