The HardassFocused and in control at all times. Most people think I'm a prick--and I'll be the first to admit that's probably true. But I'd rather be a take-no-shit cop than the kind of man genetics says I should be. You break the law, you pay the price. I don't give a damn if you're the captain's daughter or the Queen of friggin' England.
The PrincessI have no patience for the cocky men my father oversees. Or maybe it's just Sergeant Hardass who gets under my skin. Not only is he sexy as sin, he refuses to cut me a break. And now I have to work with the arrogant jerk.
I shouldn't want him, but a secret part of me craves his unforgiving edge. He could give me everything I need, but, first, I have to break down his walls.
I have to make him bend.

This is a light, sexy and fun story.  Trent is a cop who enjoys taunting Kinsey, his boss’s daughter. Trent is continually stopping Kinsey while she is driving, just because he can and there is usually a lot of verbal sparring between them. One night they give into temptation and have a night of hot sex and they are surprised to discover, they want more than just one night.

Kinsey is the manager of a high end lingerie store. There are some unexplained thefts taking place in the store and Trent helps Kinsey try to figure out what is going on. Trent is a cocky, confident guy but doesn’t think he is good enough for Kinsey. Kinsey is the best thing that ever happened to him.  What he doesn’t realize, is he is also the best thing that has ever happened to her.  After a while, he finds it impossible to keep his distance from Kinsey.  I liked this story, but I had a hard time connecting with the characters and at times, I found the dialogue confusing.
