HOT ON ICE is a fun assortment of eighteen hockey stories and I love stories about hockey players, so I really enjoyed this book.  Most of the authors were new to me and I thought it was a great way to be introduced to new authors I haven’t read before.   Each story is about a different member of the Cajun Rage hockey team after they have finally achieved their dream of winning the Stanley Cup.  The team is made of up misfits and over the hill players who no one ever expects to do well, especially not go all the way and win the cup. Naturally, all the guys are excited about finally winning the Stanley Cup.  They have all worked hard and deserve to celebrate.  Each member of the team gets to spend one day with the cup and each story is about their day with the cup and how they fall in love.  I liked the stories, the characters and reading about hockey players.  These are short, entertaining and offbeat stories and twenty percent of the sales go to Homes for our Troops.

About Kate Meader

Originally from Ireland, Kate cut her romance reader teeth on Maeve Binchy and Jilly Cooper novels, with some Mills & Boon thrown in for variety. Give her tales about brooding mill owners, oversexed equestrians, and men who can rock an apron or a fire hose, and she’s there. Now based in Chicago, she writes sexy contemporary romance with alpha heroes and strong heroines who can match their men quip for quip.

Kate is represented by Nicole Resciniti at The Seymour Agency.
