That’s over 26 stories set in Airbender continuity, by a host of top-notch talent, many of whom worked on the original animated series itself.

This book has no real storyline, it’s essentially just a group of short comics that are either just funny, relevant to the plotlines happening in the TV series, or both. The stories were all different: some were cute, some were dramatic, some had much more action, some were only one page while others took up more than ten.

However, I enjoyed most of the stories, despite the fact that I never followed the Nickelodeon television series very closely. Many of them were purely comical anyway, and I liked the characters. The earthbender Toph was tough and and always had a joke ready. Sokka’s foolishness was hilarious, but he wasn’t very deep because of it. The characters Katara and Aang were skilled water-and airbenders, but also had feelings for each other in some of the episodes.
 
Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Lost Adventures is a good read for fans of the TV series and anyone who enjoys good comic book and manga art.
