Blog Tour Review: Bedwrecker by Kim Karr

I really enjoyed this second chance romance.  I always like when the best friends from another book in the same world get together and Kim Karr gives us a great couple to follow in Bedwrecker.

Keen and Maggie spend a glorious New Year’s Eve together, secretly spending a night together without their best friends Cam and Makayla knowing.  Unwilling to let each other, they agree to figure out how to see each other again despite living on opposite coasts.  But then Keen’s life implodes and so does his relationship with Maggie.  So when he finds himself not only living next door to her, but working at the same company you have to wonder just what is going to happen with this couple.

I loved Keen and Maggie together.  They could both be uptight, but they somehow brought out the fun in each other…even when one of them is being snarky.  The jabs were almost a sort of foreplay for them because they often conveyed their true feelings despite trying to hide them from the other person.

Keen was one of those heroes you could forgive just about anything.  Even when his life imploded, he knew he wanted Maggie and he knew he screwed up with her.  He was determined to win her back, even when Maggie wasn’t quite likable.  And because he was so determined you really wanted him to get her.

I loved the ending and couldn’t think of a better way for Maggie and Keen to get their happily ever after.  When I got to the last page, I was left with a happy, satisfied feeling.

My only question for the author…will Brooklyn’s story be next???
