Reviewer’s Thoughts

FAST GLAMOUR is an absorbing story about a second chance at love.  The story centers on Rhiannon and Sterling who grow up in a privileged Hollywood lifestyle and fall in love in love when they are teenagers.  They spend much of their young lives together because their mothers are best friends and their families are close.  However, unexpected tragedy hits and Rhiannon breaks Sterling’s heart when she abruptly leaves for Europe and doesn’t return for seven years.  This story is about how they cope with their emotions once they see each again, seven years later.

It’s easy to connect to Rhiannon and Sterling and understand their feeling and motivations for the decisions they make.  Rhiannon and Sterling fall in love at a young age and have a difficult time dealing with their emotions and moving forward from the tragic events that occur in their young lives.  Although, as adults they are very successful and have careers they love, their lack of trust, hurts their personal lives.  Rhiannon is now a successful artist in Europe and Sterling directs movies in Hollywood and anyone would think they have the perfect lives, but they seem to be stuck in the past and it’s hard for them to open up to anyone.  Once they see each other again, all the secrets and lies from the past start to bubble up and it could tear them apart again.  This is the third book in the Glamour series, each book is a stand-alone, but I would recommend reading them in order.

Maggie Marr grew up in the Midwest and made the move to Los Angeles to work in the movie business.  She was a motion picture literary agent for ICM before becoming a full time writer.  She’s written for film and TV and ghostwritten for celebrities.  She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children.
