BookBud’s Thoughts

Frustrating leading lady, sweet understanding hot leading man. K Bromberg has done it again. This time with the best friends of Rylie ( Haddie ) and the best friend of Colton ( Becks). YouΒ  just knew that these two were bound to get together when we met them in the Driven Trilogy.

After the book wedding of the century Haddie feeling lonely wants to feel again and who better to feel with then Becks. What ensues is should a one night stand that turned into a I want to love him but I can’t from Haddie. And Becks was just I want and need to love her. Becks was just so sweet and understanding but still alpha enough to make us swoon. Haddie and the other hand just frustrated me beyong no end. Understandably so though. What she was going through is hard for any woman. But she needed Becks by her side more than ever.

I loved the book but it was hard to feel for Haddie when she had the best man ever waiting and all she had to say was β€œwe are”.

Thank you Ms Bromberg for writing another story filled with angst and love. Hearts and Heels baby.. Hearts and Heels.

About K. Bromberg

A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow.

Since publishing her first book in 2013, Kristy has sold over one million copies of her books across sixteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over twenty-five times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by Passionflix with the first movie slated to release in the summer of 2018.

She is currently working on her Everyday Heroes trilogy. This series consists of three complete standalone novelsβ€”Cuffed, Combust, and Cockpit (late spring 2018)β€”and is about three brothers who are emergency responders, the jobs that call to them, and the women who challenge them.
