Blog Tour Review: Struck From the Record by K. A. Linde

I will admit, I have the first 3 books in the Record series on my Kindle, but haven’t gotten to them yet.  After reading STRUCK FROM THE RECORD, I’m going to devour them.

I wasn’t sure what to think of Clay and Andrea, especially when we’re introduced to the adult version of them.  But as the story unfolds we discover a very different Clay and Andrea.  After having an open relationship for ten years, they both discover that what they swore they didn’t want was the one thing they couldn’t let go of.

Clay and Andrea were a hot mess.  HOT MESS!  Despite being each other’s best friend and lover for ten years, they didn’t know the most important pieces about the other.  Clay’s run in with some thugs make Andrea realize their relationship they way it was wasn’t going to work for her anymore, but it took Clay finding out what it was like to live without Andrea to understand just what she meant to him.

I enjoyed everything about this story.  The characters were engaging, making you laugh, get teary-eyed and sometimes mad, while the storyline itself had me turning the pages as quickly as I could.  I’ll definitely be reading more from this author.
