Top Five Book Boyfriends

Kenna from Cocktails and Books

1)  James Cavendish – “Up in the Air” series by R.K. Lilley

This was the first series I read after “50 Shades”.  I didn’t think anyone was going to compete with Christian, but I was so wrong.  This billionaire was a little looser than Christian.  He was possessive of Bianca, of course, but he was a little more relaxed.  He wasn’t snobby about going out with her friends.  He was generous with them.  He was a total Dom, but he wasn’t…rough.  There was only one time that I was upset with him, and he redeemed himself quickly.  If it’s not TMI, I have named a…personal massager…S.S. James Cavendish.

2)  Cole Ackerley/Luke McCoy –  “Temptation” and “Devotion” by Nicole Edwards

Yes, there are two men here, but they are so beautiful together, along with Sierra in the first MMF ménage I’d ever read.  I wasn’t sure if I’d like reading about two men together, and I was nervous, but I needn’t have been.  They were amazing!  They treated Sierra with such love and respect, and they were the same way with each other.  It was a long road, but their HEA was worth it.

3)  Tom Clemmins – “No More Wasted Time” by Beverly Preston

I’m not getting any younger, and I was excited to read a story about a forty something couple.  Tom was sweet, chivalrous, and tender.  He realized that Tess was still mourning, and he never pressed her into anything.  Their chemistry was off the charts, and I loved reading about their adventures together in Europe.

4)  Clay Nichols –  “Night After Night” by Lauren Blakely

I can’t even describe how sexy he is.  He’s a filthy talking, insanely hot attorney who knows what to do with a set of pearls.  I have read and re-read this book so many times because he’s just so damn awesome.  He is the romantic hero that is who you would want to have with you on a deserted island because he’d never be boring.

5)  Dawson Kellor – “Stripped” by Jasinda Wilder

He’s a hot actor with zero ego and a sweet and chivalrous streak.  I fell in love with him right away, and that love got even deeper during the longest, most romantic, but insanely sexy “first time” scene I’ve ever read  It went on for page after page, and it took my breath away.

I am a lover of alpha males with dirty mouths, strong heroines putting alpha males in their place, and the Chicago Blackhawks. I'm a proud hockey mom who can often be found at the hockey rink cheering on my favorite forward, with my kindle close by.
