trust meLawyer Alaina Simmons never imagined that she would be defending her deceased father against accusations of terrorism when she agreed to protect his legacy, a group of documents he’d placed in an archival repository. FBI Lawyer Donovan Prentice insists that her father and the organization he worked for were terrorists and that crucial evidence is in the documents Alaina has sworn to protect. Now she is forced to combat the FBI and her compelling attraction to Donovan Prentice while unaware that she is also Donovan’s suspect.
Special Agent Donovan Prentice is working undercover posing as a lawyer in an attempt to gain access to the evidence he needs to convict a group of terrorists as well as determine if Alaina Simmons is working with them. Things become complicated as Donovan becomes more intent on getting his suspect in bed than putting her in jail.
When the bullets start to fly and the lies begin to unravel Alaina and Donovan begin to explore their intensely sexual relationship, but the couple will have to learn to trust each other both in and out of bed before the terrorists’ game of intrigue can end.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Trust Me is about Lawyer Alaina Simmons and FBI agent Donovan Prentice. It’s a pretty simple concept – FBI thinks Alaina along with her now deceased father are suspects in terrorist bombing and set out to gain access to papers they believe hold the answers they are looking for. Thus, Donovan goes undercover in order to stalk Alaina.

I was sucked in from the beginning when Alaina bumps into a drop dead gorgeous dude while buying aspirins before heading to work to meet with her first client of the day…unbeknownst to her its none other than Donovan.

I think Anna did an awesome job with the characters. Alaina is smart, witty, beautiful, and yes, sometimes annoying! Donovan is HOT x 10, protective, controlling yet willing to give up the reins when called for. Together they set the sheets on FIRE. The secondary characters are also great and I hope Elise gets her own story.

This book is full of HOT sex which could lead to Donovan being fired, really hot break up and make up sex, intrigue, angst, twists and turns, some laugh out loud moments, and some moments when you just have to root for Donovan.

If your looking for a book that will keep your interest, make you wet from all the hotness, has a great plot and awesome characters than this is the book for you.
