Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Circle of Deception was a very steamy read with well-developed likeable characters. Ms Swafford managed to weave a tale of intrigue and incude many hot steamy love scenes.

The main female character and male character each had issues with their parents that reflected in their relationship which was very realistic. The characters, told in past tense, suffered because each believed that the other was dead. They were conveniently reunited, had to pretend to be married, and confessed their undying love in at the end of the novel.

The ending was very predictable, but that is par for the course with romance novels. The book had equal does of action, adventure, and erotic love scenes. I would label it a must read for those that enjoy erotic fiction.
