Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Shay Morgan has been hidden for a long time, with very good reason. Her childhood involved nothing but traumatic abuse and loss. When I first began this book, I didn’t think I was going to like it. I thought entire story would be about a woman who was scare of anything and would hide in the safety of her home, Earth’s End, Alaska. I was so wrong!

I stayed up for hours at night, telling myself “okay, just one more chapter”. I literally read until I finally just fell asleep. I had to find out what happened next. The author, Shiloh Walker, never gave away any clues. Just when I thought I had this mystery figured out, an interesting twist came out.

Thought out this novel, Shay begins to come out of her protective shell, with the help of her amazing, patient boyfriend, Elliot Winter. I loved Elliot in this story. He was so protective of Shay. To see his inner struggles, does he push Shay more than he should? Or should he back off and let her put up her defensive wall? He will have you wanting to move all the way to Alaska to find a man like him.

Great book, I love the twist and turns. I didn’t figure anything out until the very end. It was amazing. You will find yourself rooting for Shay, as you see her become comfortable with loving someone and loving herself.
