After reading the first book in Liz Crowe’s Stewart Realty series, Floor Time, I couldn’t wait to read Sweat Equity, the second book in this series. As I hoped it would be, Sweat Equity is one of my favorite reads of 2012.

 In Sweat Equity, Jack and Sara’s heart-wrenching story continues and picks up a few months after the ending of Floor Time. This is no fairy tale love story where the boy and girl have fallen in love and live happily ever after. Nope, nearly everyone in this book has issues. Jack and Sarah are complex and dysfunctional. But even so, there is a deep true love there, which you can’t help but see.

This series, especially Sweat Equity, is emotional, hot and realistic. There are lots of break-ups and A LOT of make-ups. I urge readers to pick this book up, but only after reading the first book, Floor Times, in this amazing series. The cliffhanger in this book will make you want to throw your Kindle or paperback. But you will immediately rush to get the third book in this series.
