Kasey Michaels introduces a delicious new series about the Redgraves, four siblings celebrated for their legacy of scandal and seduction…
Gideon Redgrave, eldest child of the late Earl of Saltwood, refuses to be humbled by the scandal that once tore his family apart. He’s built his life in London society around one rule: trust no one. So the last thing he wants is to play guardian and role model to a headstrong boy . . . or to engage in a battle of wills with the boy’s spirited half sister, who is fighting Gideon for custody.

Beautiful and bold, young widow Jessica Linden proves to be a formidable and passionate adversary. But the more they lock horns, the more Gideon realizes he’d prefer to have Jessica on his side . . . and in his arms. Especially now that a new threat—sprung from his father’s supposedly defunct secret society—is poised to destroy the Redgraves once and for all.

Reviewer’s Thoughts:

Jessica, a strong willed widow that know it takes a lot to survive and thrive in the world. After hearing of her father and step mothers death, Jessica goes to her brothers guardian, trying to get custody of him.

Gideon, is kind of bored with the normalcy of life. But also enjoys the power and privilege that comes with being an Earl
Upon meeting Jessica and Gidoen both take up very stubborn attitudes toward the other. While wanting to work together to find out whom was killing of members of the society that both thier fathers belonged to. They both feel like they are running around in circles, just because the ways of the society has changed.
Along the way you meet Gidoen’s family, and Jessica’s brother who is not like the little brother she remembered. I really enjoyed Gidoen’s grandmother, she was very eccentric and wild well into 60’s! All the interactions between the characters was very well written, The plot amazing.
The romance between Jessica and Gideon was very whirlwind.
I really enjoyed “What an Earl Wants” But at the end I felt like I was left with a couple of loose ends. But other then that it is really great book and i look forward to reading more from Shirley Karr.
I give What an Earl Wants four Cocktails!!
