Hottest Couple of the Week: Shea and Elli from Taking Shots

I pledged last week that I was going to spend the weekend reading hockey themed romance books because my beloved NHL was playing again.  I figured I had this book called, TAKING SHOTS, just sitting on my Kindle (for about 8 months) begging to be read. That little vow introduced me to a hockey team that I love and brings us our Hottest Couple of the Week.

Shea Adler and Elli Fisher are HAWT!  Shea’s the sexy captain of the Assassin’s and Elli is a huge fan who just happens to have a very large crush on the captain.  When he notices her, he notices her and nothing stops Shea from getting what he wants…even Elli.

Toni Aleo manages to take an ordinary woman (who has a large enough budget to afford her very expensive clothes and shoes) and demonstrate just how those athletes we love are regular people who just want to find the person to spend the rest of their lives with (which includes a lot of hot sex).

It seemed that no matter how hard she tried to shake Shea off, he wasn’t going anywhere, and for the first time Elli didn’t feel alone.

But could Elli throw her insecurities out the window and love Shea with everything inside of her? Or will she let a past relationship, and her family ruin any chance of her being happy?
