Are you looking for a surprisingly sweet “enemies” to lovers read set against the backdrop of Dallas Hockey? If yes, this is the book you need!

Miller and Layla are both characters that we’ve seen in this series before as secondary characters, it was fun to get to know them better here. The push/pull between these two was entertaining to watch and I loved seeing Miller reveal the multiple sides to his personality as well as grow up a little bit. The conflict here was a surprise and it was interesting to see how our couple dealt with it.

The secondary cast here is great. We have a scene stealing Grandma Nancy along with teammates Ralph and Manning to help our couple figure things out. This strong secondary cast along with the great dynamic between our main characters make this is a great addition to the “Only One” series. I can’t wait to see what Ms Madison has in store for us next.
