Life has always been hard for Lillian Jacobson. Her parents were murdered right in front of her eyes at a young age. Having to be in witness protection with her brother as her only companion is the only thing she knows but it’s not the only thing she wants. However for Lillian, relationships are one of the luxuries that she cannot afford. In an instant everything changed and for the first time, fighting for love was the only thing left to do.

Lillian decides she is done being a pawn in everyone else’s game. She stands her ground and prepares for the fight of her life. Will she finally get everything that she deserves? Is it finally time for Lillian to find the happily ever after that she has never allowed herself to believe in?

When secrets are revealed, Lillian risks losing the only people she has left in her life.

Shannon’s Thoughts

WHO I BECAME concludes the story of Lillian and Wesson, tying together the almost love triangle, what happened at the end of WHO I WAS, and what was behind their betrayal.   In all, the author did a good job of giving us a satisfying ending to the story.  The secrets, omissions and questionable medical issues got on my nerves a little bit, but all that played into Lillian, Parker, Wesson, Brax, Mia and Vanessa finding their way out of the mess they were in and creating the family they all craved.
