Release Day Launch & Giveaway: Blind Faith – Rebecca Zanetti

Thanks so much to Cocktails & Books for having me here today!  I have to say…I love both cocktails and books, so this is the place for me.  I was asked about my top five favorite Alpha Male traits, and I had to stop and think how to limit the list to five.  I gave it my best shot:

1.     They’ll take a bullet for you.  Yeah, I like the idea of a good guy (make that a badass, long and lean, tough alpha guy) stepping between me and any danger.  Especially bullets, you know?

2.     They get stuff done.  I mean this in all areas, and life in general.  An alpha doesn’t sit around and wait for life to happen.  They make it happen.  Need your car fixed?  They get it fixed.  Need new siding on the house?  Yep, those hammers get swinging.

3.     Their allegiances are clear.  There’s no waffling for an alpha male.  If he’s your friend, then he’ll go into the fire for you, no questions asked.  If he’s your enemy, then freakin watch out.  And if he’s your man…well, let’s just say there’s no wondering about it.  You know where you stand.

4.     They have stories to tell.  No matter how they’re raised, what kind of crap they’ve been through, even if they started with alpha male traits, life has given them the experiences to hone those.  Usually those end with a great story or two…and good friends who had been there.  Sometimes it takes a village, and even a lone wolf of an alpha usually has more friends and family than he knows what to do with.

5.     They can kiss.  Yeah, I saved this for number five, and it should probably be number one, but like an alpha male and his moves, it’s nice to build on up to the good stuff.  An alpha is all in, full concentration, and that makes for a great kiss.  One that will indelibly lead to another kiss…
