When speed and seduction combine, sparks are sure to fly.
Some girls enjoy makeup, low-cut dresses, and bedding famous men. Not me. I’m happiest in my oily overalls, with my hands in an engine, chatting with the guys on my team about aerodynamics and wing position.
So when infamous Formula One champion, Dean Cudditch, comes into my life, I’m content to leave him to his lothario ways. Dean seems on top of the world when draped with adoring female fans, and I refuse to be another of the champ’s conquests.
However, as I get to know the real Dean Cudditch, I begin to see a softer side to him that makes him all the sexier. My resolve crumbles when he admits that it’s my mechanical mind and engineering know-how that turn him on. Before I know it, I’m racing down the fast lane of seduction, passion, and lust. One thing is for sure: when Dean is behind the wheel, it’s going to be one hot ride.

ACCELERATED PASSION takes the reader into world of Formula One race car driver Dean Cudditch.  Dean is thrown off balance when Frankie Wright, a female lead mechanic is hired to work on the car he drives. Frankie is a tomboy at heart and working with racecars is her dream job.  Although she is the best in her field, Frankie doesn’t find it easy fitting into this male dominated, good ole boy field.  Frankie has admired Dean from afar and is excited to work with him, until she meets him and he makes it clear he is not happy to have a female on his team.  She is competent and experienced but unfortunately for Frankie, all Dean can see is that she is a woman. Dean and Frankie get off to a rocky start and are constantly making sarcastic remarks to each other.

Dean lives a fast paced life both on and off the track and women are constantly throwing themselves at him.  He has a live hard and fast reputation but once Frankie gets to know him, she sees another side of Dean.  Beneath his alpha male exterior Dean is a nice guy and he likes everything about Frankie.  He finds Frankie sexy and he especially loves being able to talk to her about his passion, car racing.   Dean and Frankie are either arguing or making love and you can feel all the sexual tension between them whenever they are together.   I love all of Lily Harlem’s books but I have to admit, her sports themed ones are my favorite.  She knows how to write an entertaining story with loads of heat and tension between the characters.  ACCELERATED PASSION is a sexy story with engaging characters.
