Review: Ain’t No Bull – Danica Avet

Isola “Izzy” Malone is proud to be an Amazon. After years of roaming, she finally finds a home with the Blood Maiden Tribe. But contentment made her wild which is how Izzy ends up exiled to Middle-of-Nowhere, Wyoming. The most fun she can look forward to is rescuing a dumb bull from a group of nymphs. Grant Strickland isn’t ready to commit to a harem of placid cow-swans; not yet. Another great one from Danica Avet! Finally, the comic relief of the Amazons takes center stage. Isola, or Izzy as she prefers to be called by her friends, has been banished for… well, for being herself. Impetuous, carefree and impulsive, Izzy needs to learn self-control. Grant is a Minotaur on a mission, thwart his family’s matchmaking schemes to have him mated to a harem of cow-swans and make Izzy realize they’re meant to be a mated pair. Avet is to be commended for the realism in the relationship development of her characters. The turbulent relationship between Isola and Grant progresses as they face one obstacle after another without compromising the characters’ true personalities. 

Love, action, a whole lot of laughter and visits from some characters from the previous books, fans of the paranormal do not want to miss this great addition to the Veil series.
