23525086Peyton King had a simple plan. Sign up for the Spectrum Auctions and finally get the story that will get her the promotion she craves.

It’s just her luck that the person who wins her is Pedro Hernandez. The Spanish Dom has been starring in her erotic dreams ever since they first butted heads in her professional life, and he proves impossible to resist, if downright scary.

The sadist in Pedro is looking forward to teaching the prickly reporter a lesson or two. However, when Peyton turns out to be a masochist her instinctive responses floor the experienced Dom. Maybe it’s just his age catching up with him, but this young reporter gets under his skin like no other sub ever has, and their play smashes through both of their emotional defences in record time.

When their relationship is put to the test, Pedro has to decide if he can trust his pequeñita.

She is a reporter after all…

“Auctioned to the Spanish Dom” was a dreamy, delightful, and delicious read.  I love Doris O’Connor.  It’s like she lives in my brain.  She gives me stories that are sweet and INCREDIBLY hot at the same time.  This one fits that bill nicely.

Peyton is a reporter, and if she can get the scoop on what goes on at Club Spectrum, she’ll get a nice promotion and a tidy raise.  She signs up for the club’s auction.  Basically, Doms bid on subs for a night of submission.   Master Pedro (sigh) knows she’s a reporter, and bids quite a bit on her.  She’s secretly thrilled, but tries to fight him anyway.  The rest of the story is a fun ride with humor, romance, and a LOT of hot BDSM sex…and make no mistake, this IS a story of BDSM.  It’s not necessarily for the faint of heart.  There are all sorts of fun toys that Master Pedro uses to tease and tame Peyton. There is also an intense menage scene.  THe book may be listed as MFM, but it’s nearly all MF, and that’s fine.  It completely works with the story.

This is not a very long book, but a lot goes on.  Everything is fast paced, but it’s not overwhelming.  There is no cheap filler.  Every scene is important. I found myself quickly wrapped up in it, and I didn’t put it down until it was over.  I just didn’t want to stop.  Peyton is a tough woman, but she learns to embrace her submissive side and then bask in it.  Master Pedro is every sub’s dream.  He’s smart, sexy, COMPLETELY alpha, and quite passionate. WHEW! The man heated up my Kindle…and my blood 🙂

I think that everybody (provided you’re into BDSM and menage) should read this book!  Doris has a wonderful, flowing writing style that is easy to follow but also has many layers.  She gives us great main characters, fun background characters, a believable storyline, and a LOT of heat.  I am very highly recommending “Auctioned to the Spanish Dom”.
