They call me the Bad Bitch. A lesser woman might get her panties in a twist over it, but me? I'm the one who does the twisting. Whether it's in the courtroom or in the bedroom, I've never let anyone - much less a man - get the upper hand.
Except for that jerk attorney Lincoln Granade. He's dark, mysterious, smoking hot and sexy as hell. He's nothing but a bad, bad boy playing the part of an up and coming premiere attorney. I'm not worried about losing in a head to head battle with this guy. But he gets me all hot and bothered in a way no man has ever done before. I don't like a person being under my skin this much. It makes me want to let go of all control, makes me want to give in. This dangerous man makes me want to submit to him completely, again, and again, and again...

Bad Bitch is the first book in Christina Saunders debut series also called Bad Bitch.

Evangeline Padilla is a tough as nails defense attorney who likes to be in control of all her situations in and out of the courtroom and especially the bedroom. Β When we first meet her she is firing one of her associates because of substandardΒ performance (you get to choose where). Β She is handed a PonziΒ scheme case that can earn her firm a lot of money – if she can beat the US Attorney who is prosecuting the case, LincolnΒ Granade.

Lincoln a hotshot lawyer from New Orleans has come to New York to take down more than Evan’s client but all those around him including Evan. Β That is until he meets her for the first time and has the best sex of his life. Β As he gets to know her he sees there is probably more to the story and sets out to find it – even with Evan attempting to push his buttons at every turn.

There are some great things in the story – the chemistry between Lincoln and Evan is off the charts from the start and the author does a great job making the characters complex and smart. Β I did have a hard time with Evan in the beginning of the story – it was hard to find her likable but once Lincoln starts to pull back who she is he does it for the reader as well, so by the end, I did truly enjoy who she really is. Β Lincoln does happen to have 2 other southern brothers that the next two books are based on and I can’t wait to find out more about this family.

If you are looking for a quick summer read that is hot and complex I definitely recommend Bad Bitch.
