Reviewer’s Thoughts

Kellie is a reporter and wants a huge story to make a splash in the news business. She meets with a man who says he has information on the latest serial killer making headlines. As Kellie meets with this rather greasy-looking man, she finds she’s made a mistake when all he talks about are vampires.

She hardly takes this guy seriously, even when he tells her that he’s part of a group that is hunting vampires and that he knows where the next attack is going to be. Kellie reluctantly decides to stake out the possible attack site. Kellie is vigilant, safely locked away in her car ready to take photographic evidence when she witnesses something truly disturbing, the existence of vampires!

Kellie meets Trent, a sexy vampire who also hunts and kills rogue vampires. Trent is wounded and mentally persuades the beautiful Kellie into taking him home so he can rest and recuperate. What should have been one night together turns into more when sparks fly between the two. Their story takes many twists and turns and ends with a hard-won happily ever after.

I thought the story was okay. The dialog felt a little cliché at times and the storyline wasn’t able to hold my attention. However, I did enjoy the author’s twist on the vampire myth. A quick, paranormal romance read.
