convincing rowenaVance “Van” and Rowena Sommers Whitney are Passion Peak’s favorite vanilla couple. Up until now, that is. As they seek to add BDSM play to their marriage, Passion Peak is once again in the news when new treasure hunters descend on the town.

Rowena is still struggling with trust issues from a past relationship she thought was dead and buried but has resurfaced during her BDSM experimentation with Van. A road trip to visit her friend Eve’s family in Racy, Indiana, puts Rowena in touch with new friends who help her start to deal with the past and her trust issues.

At home in Passion Peak, Van is not happy to learn the home he shares with Rowena is once again a target for five seeking the secrets supposedly buried inside it. When Rowena returns home and is kidnapped by two of these men, Van races against time to save the only woman he has ever loved.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Can we talk heat for a minute?  I want to tell you all that Tara Rose’s “Convincing Rowena” has so much heat that my Kindle was smoking (Even, perhaps, a post sex cigarette?)  The first two chapters alone are worth the price of admission!

Van and Rowena seem to be the only non-menage couple in Passion Peak.  They’re also quite “vanilla” as far as their sex life is concerned.  Sure, it’s great, but maybe they’re craving a little more…spice?  Add in some mysterious strangers in an old Camaro, a girls’ road trip to Racy, Indiana, and some old scandal, and you’ve got a great and fun story.

As usual, Tara Rose writes a smooth, sexy, character driven novel with the perfect combination of love, sex, action, and mystery.  Not only are Van and Rowena a wonderful pair, but all of their close friends and family are a perfect fit as well.  This is the sixth book in the “Passion Peak, Colorado” series.  It can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend that you read all of the other books in order so that you can, not only acquaint yourself with the other characters, but you’ll also be able to follow the ongoing underlying mystery that’s been plaguing the residents of this lovely town.

Notice that I didn’t give you any spoilers?  You should know by now that I don’t give too much away.  I do this because I really want you to read “Convincing Rowena”, but I also want you to dive in head first and read the whole series.  Do yourself a favor.  Buy this book!
