Dallas Novak swore off women after his fiancΓ©e broke their engagement when his parents died. His plans were drastically changed when he was suddenly responsible for his family and their ranch, Novak Springs. Resigned to his new life, he threw himself into making the ranch successful alongside his siblings. They were the only things he had room for in his life. That changes when his little sister comes home from college with a broken heart of her own. She needs a distraction and has an idea for a Cowgirl Yoga program on the ranch. Dallas reluctantly agrees to give her new business a trial run so she has something to keep her mind off her lost love.

Ginnifer Zeiss is a well-established journalist for a prominent magazine in New York. When Emma Novak approaches her to write an article for her new business, she drops everything to experience what a real ranch is like. She had secretly always loved ranches and is attracted to sexy cowboys. So with her best friend in tow, they prepare to experience a horse ranch in Washington state.

When Dallas meets Ginnifer he is instantly attracted to her. He starts to question his rule of only spending one night with a woman and forgetting about her. The more time he spends in Ginnifer’s company, the more he wonders if he can live without her. Can he get over the betrayal he felt when his ex-fiancΓ©e left him long enough to grab happiness?

Three siblings (Dallas, Wes and Emma) inherited the family horse ranch when their parents passed away several years earlier. Emma suggests to make money during the fall months the ranch offer “Cowgirl Yoga” but her brothers are hesitant as to whether it is a viable idea or not considering the cost involved to get it up and running. Emma has secured a magazine writer (Ginnifer) who wants to write a story on the idea and wants to experience ranch living and “Cowgirl Yoga” for herself to enhance her magazine article. Once her brothers are on board with her idea Emma sets everything in motion she hires a Yoga instructor to run the classes (not knowing said instructor is the same woman who broke her brothers heart). There’s a lot of sexual tension among some of the women in regards to both Wes and Dallas (Emma’s brothers) not to mention Melody the yoga instructor/ex-fiance of Dallas whom is there with the thoughts of winning back Dallas more than instructing yoga. The misunderstandings and tension between the characters keeps you reading and reading. This book had a HEA and was well worth the read.
