Return to Lovett, Texas, the setting of Daisy’s Back in Town, in this smart and sexy new story from Rachel Gibson, the New York Times bestselling author of Rescue Me and the Seattle Chinooks books.

Lily Darlington’s been called crazy in her day-and, yeah, driving her car into her ex-husband’s living room probably wasn’t the smartest move ever made-but the louse deserved it. Now Lily is happily single, and she’s turned it all around. She knows she’s a good mom, a homeowner, and a businesswoman, all wrapped up in one good-looking package.

A package that police officer Tucker Matthews is dying to unwrap. This ex-military man sure doesn’t need another woman in his life. His last girlfriend left him with nothing but memories and a cat named Pinky! But living next door to Lily has been driving him nuts. He dreams about her long blonde hair and even longer legs. And maybe it’s time to go a little crazy . . . and fall in love.

Reviewer’s Thoughts:
It took me a bit, after I started reading this one, to realize who Lily was in Daisy’s Back in Town.  Once everything clicked,

Lily Darlington has managed to pull her life together after her few years of insanity at the hands of ex-husband, Ronnie.  She runs a respectable business and the only crazy thing she does is love her ten year old son like crazy.  But when she catches her new, hot, next door neighbor her girl parts start thinking crazy thoughts.

Tucker Matthews wasn’t looking for anything except a place to call home when her moved to Lovett.  He found the house, but when he spotted his next door neighbor in her pajamas and fuzzy slippers, he falls crazy in love with her.  The only problem is, convincing Lily that despite their age difference and their pasts what they have together is something special.

As with all Rachel Gibson books, she manages to create characters that are lovable and make you laugh.  Lily and Tucker are no exception.  Half the fun of these two is the verbal sparring they do, but the other half is the hot chemistry they have.

This is a really quick read, but it’s fun, cute and will lighten up an hour of your day.
