18693621Liam “Hunter” Blake hates the Reapers MC. Born and raised a Devil’s Jack, he knows his duty. He’ll defend his club from their oldest enemies—the Reapers—using whatever weapons he can find. But why use force when the Reapers’ president has a daughter who’s alone and vulnerable? Hunter has wanted her from the minute he saw her, and now he has an excuse to take her.

Em has lived her entire life in the shadow of the Reapers. Her overprotective father, Picnic, is the club’s president. The last time she had a boyfriend, Picnic shot him. Now the men in her life are far more interested in keeping her daddy happy than showing her a good time. Then she meets a handsome stranger—a man who isn’t afraid to treat her like a real woman. One who isn’t afraid of her father. His name is Liam, and he’s The One.

Or so she thinks.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

Reapers and Devil’s Jack hate each other, so when the princess of the Reapers falls for a Devil’s Jack sparks fly, and the ride is wild. Seriously I couldn’t put this book down, Ms. Wylde has built a vibrant world full of interesting characters that aren’t traditional, but they’re real and sexy and I fall in love every time.

Liam and Em are perfect for each other, and they don’t have an easy path to love, and I love that. I love that they have to fight each other, their circumstances and everyone to be together. I love that they work to be together, it gives this story a satisfying ending, it allows them to be real three dimensional people in my head. When they’re together the chemistry is off the charts, and even when they should hate each other, they’re seriously sexy together.

I can honestly say that Liam and Em are one of my favorite couples in this series, and I seriously recommend that a reader start at the beginning and just immerse themselves in this whole series, and I’m really excited for the next installment so that I can come back and enjoy some time with the Reapers!
