drive me crazyHis rival’s in his bed, and this rocker is ready to play.

Former rivals Quinn Bradford and Elise McKinney are not friends, at least not anymore. As teens, all they cared about was psyching each other out before concerts. But when Quinn—now the keyboardist for Shaken Dirty, the hottest rock band on the scene—returns to his hometown and hears about the car accident that shattered Elise’s career, he’s determined to make things right.

Elise wants nothing to do with an arrogant rock star, despite how bad she so clearly wants him, so Quinn kidnaps the stubborn little piano player and whisks her back to his mansion. A little seduction might be just the thing to keep Elise under his care…and in his bed. But amid pranks both childish and very adult, their past comes rearing back to haunt them. And it might be more than either of them can forget.

Reviewer’s Thoughts

I was hooked in the first book with Ryder and Jamison’s Story in Crash Into Me.  I love a good series about a rock band.  Shaken Dirty definitely does it for me.  What I really loved about Drive Me Crazy was how different the story arc for Quinn and Elise was from Ryder and Jamison.  In the first book, you were much more a part of what an actual band goes through when on the road and recording an album.  In Drive Me Crazy, the band is on hiatus due to critical problem at the end of the first book and it gave the second book a completely different vibe. Sometimes books in a series sound too similar but Tracy Wolff has already set this series a part with the change of pace in the first two books

Quinn Bradford, the keyboardist for Shaken Dirty and who I was intrigued by in the first book, finds out that an old friend has been in a car accident while in Austin.  Elise, McKinney, isn’t just an old friend, she was his biggest rival when they performed as concert pianist as teens.  As teens, all they did was torture each other with pranks but something happened between them and 10 years has pasted since they have laid eyes on each other.  Imagine how surprised Elise is when Quinn shows up in her hospital room.

Gone is the girl that Quinn loved and in her place is a shattered broken person.  Elise’s hand is damaged and she will never be able to play piano again.  Quinn has never been able to forget her and he wants nothing more to help her.  The chemistry between the two is crazy hot.  And what makes it hotter is the elaborate pranks they play on each other throughout the book.  I laughed out loud and even catalogued away a few ideas to use!

I am looking forward to reading all the other books from Shaken Dirty.  I have a special place reserved for Wyatt.  I love a broken bad boy!  Hope he is next!
