A smoldering and sensual standalone romance novel in the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Seductive Nights Series by Lauren Blakely...

Sinfully sexy hotel CEO Nate Harper knows exactly how to please a woman. He's equally skilled in keeping his heart safe from the kind of hurt his ex inflicted on him years ago. But one thing he's not so good at what-so-ever is getting his mind and all his dirty thoughts off the gorgeous, outgoing, and absolutely captivating Casey Sullivan, the new head of the Joy Delivered company.
They've been friends for years now, and Casey trusts Nate completely. So it makes perfect sense to her to ask him for hands-on guidance when she finds herself in need of some of his romantic expertise.
The trouble is, his heart may be signing up for more than it bargained for when he agrees to help her learn to abandon her need for control in the bedroom. Because as she experiences what it means to let go, he'll start to experience what it means to feel again...

But what happens when all those forbidden nights turn into a deeper connection that's much more than expected?

*FORBIDDEN NIGHTS is a standalone full-length novel in the bestselling SEDUCTIVE NIGHTS series following the love affair of Nate and Casey. You can read it on its own, but you would likely enjoy the other books too.*

Candace’s Thoughts

4.5 Cocktails

I have thoroughly enjoyed Lauren Blakely’s Seductive Nights series.  First with Clay and Jack and now with Nate Harper.  He is the guy we all want: sexy, successful, charming, and funny as hell.  He totally has the hots for his best friend Casey Sullivan, who is Jack’s sister.  They have been best freinds for a long time and he was burned badly in the past so intimacy is not something he is ok with.  Nate is known as a player and a good lover by one and all.

Casey is a powerful, outspoken alpha female which I adore. We don’t get enough of these ladies in books.  She runs her own company but she struggles in her personal life.  Are we surprised that most of the males she tries to date can’t handle her strong, dominating personality?  Not at all.  So she wants Nate, who she trusts completely to teach her how to let go of her need for control.

Her plan doesn’t go quite as planned as her and Nate begin to enjoy his teachings a bit too much.  The No Strings No Commitments mantra starts fading into the background.
“I don’t want lessons in seduction. I want lessons in submission.”  Casey and Nate share intense chemistry and because they are friends, intimacy comes easily to their relationship.  Will their pasts destroy what they are builidng together?

I love a good best friend turns lover story and this is it!  Nate is someone we all would love to have in our lives and more importantly in our beds!
