Can surviving the horrors of the night lead Colin to find the one that was meant to love him and bring him back to the light?

Colin Brantford is an Omega wolf. When his pack is destroyed by hellhounds, he and his brother are transported to Moon Compound. There, Colin must enter into a world where all wolf shifters are sent to learn to shift. Two years prematurely.

Sloan Atwater has been at the compound for three years and still has no control of his wolf. That is until he spots Colin, making Sloan crave the slightest touch. Will he be able to claim Colin for his own? And when Colin needs Sloan, will he be able to control his wolf?

Reviewer’s Thoughts

3.5 Cocktails

The premise was a bit dark, and the Moon Compound was as dark and dreary as I expected, especially since Colin arrives under some seriously dark times since his whole pack was wiped out by hellhounds. I really loved that Colin and Sloan both were so drawn to each other but dind’t have an idea what was going on.

I had a pretty good idea what was going on and Ms. Nacht does a great job with the setup and dropping enough hints that despite the men’s cluelessness I totally knew what was going to happen and I wasn’t disappointed when I was proven correct.

I really loved the opening for the next book, and the setup is something that I really found myself wanting to read right away just to see how it ends. I hope I’ll also have a chance to catch up with Sloan and Colin in the next book since I’ve come to love them.

The author has created an interesting world and I look forward to reading more in the series.
