three-stars

Erin Braddock, daughter of wealthy and powerful rancher Rance Braddock, has been to hell and back. So has wandering cowboy minstrel Grady Sinclair. But the moment they meet, chemistry ignites, erasing everything else. The sex is scorching, explosive, addictive. They can’t get enough of each other. The same talented fingers that coax seductive music from Grady’s guitar coax powerful orgasms from Erin’s body.Seduced by his music as well as the sinfully sexy man himself, Erin runs away with Grady. Each night she sits in the bar listening as his come-to-me voice promises erotic delights he more than delivers on when they’re back in their room. But one day soon the past will catch up with them.

Grady is traveling from place to place playing his music at local bars. Erin is from a wealthy family who has suffered at the hands of a boyfriend and her father is trying to protect her by marrying her to a family friend who can protect and provide for her. She is not in love with her father’s choice of a husband and on the evening before the big wedding she slips off un-noticed to the local bar where her friends have been taking her to get out and have fun. She is attracted to the local talent playing at the bar and on this particular evening she decides to act upon her attraction and get away from her father’s over-bearing nature. Erin makes Grady an offer he just can’t refuse though he knows that Erin (being from a well to do family) will tire of her and move on without him decides to have fun while it lasts. But Erin is not easily scared off and the two get very close but her father and fiance are searching for her and will stop at nothing to find her.Β  I enjoyed this book, however I wish it was a bit longer and explored their life together further but all in all it was a good read.
