I cave in to no one. My hardass exterior is what makes me one of the hottest defense lawyers around. It's why I'm the perfect guy to defend the notorious Bayou Butcher serial killer - and why I'll come out on top.
Except this new associate I've hired is unnaturally skilled at putting chinks in my well-constructed armor. Her brazen talk and fiery attitude make me want to take control of her and silence her - in ways that will keep both of us busy till dawn. She drives me absolutely 100% crazy, but I need her for this case. I need her in my bed. I need her to let loose the man within me who fights with rage and loves with scorching desire...

Hardass book 2 in Christina Saunder’s Bad Bitch series is fantastic.  Great romance, great suspense and most of all great characters.

Washington “Wash” Granade is by the rules hardass who doesn’t believe in bending them, especially when it comes to running his law practice.  That’s until Caroline Montreat because an associate at his firm and starts working with Wash on a serial killer case.  Wash knows he needs to stay away – she is too young, too inexperienced and so incredibly beautiful, he finds that he may need to break the rules.

Caroline Montreat has always played by her own rules – in order to fit in, she uses her personality as a way to win people over.  When she sees Wash for the first time in law school she knew what law firm she wanted to work at – and she now is.  Then when she is selected to work with him defending the serial killer she knows this is her chance to prove to Wash she is a great lawyer and that he needs her, can she win this Hardass over?

I am really loving this series!  This story is fast paced with great dialog between the main characters and great secondary characters.  Again this book is told in dual POV’s you get the insight from both characters which in some cases is quite funny.  You do see some of the characters from the first book and I find that I can’t wait for Kennedy’s book coming up next his continued introduction has been fantastic.   Ms. Saunders has really found her footing with the balance of romance and suspense that I was on the edge of my seat.

The great thing about this series is that all 3 books are all out – which means I am getting ready to dive into the final book.  This has definitely been my favorite summer read so far.  You wont be disappointed!
