Reviewer’s Thoughts

This book had me from page one!  The emotional turmoil in this book was gripping, it grabbed my attention from the start and didn’t let go.  It was an emotional roller coaster ride of emotional highs and lows, and this is one ride that I didn’t want to get off.  It’s a combustible read that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and breathlessly waiting in anticipation of what will happen every time you turn the page.  I had so many conflicting emotions while reading this story, the characters felt so real, the author did a flawless job of pulling you into the story and keeping you on the edge.

Caine was what I would call in the beginning a typical male chauvinist ass to be quite honest, he was arrogant and a real jerk, but that didn’t last long…he had many flaws and underneath that tough shell of a man was an extremely vulnerable boy, one that had endured a lot pain in his life.  Then we meet Alexa, she is for all intents and purposes supposed to be Caine’s enemy, but this strong and stubborn female is not to be reckoned with when it comes to getting Caine to forgive her family for the wrongs that they caused him and that includes doing everything she is able to in order for her to chip away at his hard exterior.  Caine definitely met his match in Alexa and living through their mental torture of each other, their love story was just a torturous.  Enemies to lovers is always so much more combustive when it comes to the chemistry between two people and this book was no different, it was off the charts and the sex, well lets just say that the sex was panty melting hot!   The passion builds between them, it’s almost suffocating, and neither one of them lets anyone in, but they can’t stop from pulling the other one close.  Pure Magnetism!

This was such a well thought out story, with layers of drama and plot twists. I absolutely loved it, and quite literally did not put it down until the end and even when I read the last page, I wanted more.  The Secondary characters in this book were fantastic and just made the book that much more enjoyable.  I could see myself reading this book again which is something I rarely ever do, but this book is worth it.  Put this on your to be read pile and don’t wait too long, It would be at the top of my list!
