Reviewer’s Thoughts

In this book, we find out why Molly quickly high-tailed it out of town all those years ago which is also the same reason she wants to get the hell out of Dodge right after her sister’s wedding. And she would have too, if not for terrible circumstances that leave Molly stuck in the small town of Hope indefinitely.

Carter Richards is a dangerously sexy man who’s both excited and unnerved that Molly is back in town. Their high school relationship quickly crumbled after a huge fight leaving Carter licking his wounds and Molly halfway across the country before Carter even blinked!

Now Molly is back in town for an extended stay and Carter wants to convince her that he’s not the guy he once was. As Carter and Molly spend time together, old feelings resurface and new feelings start developing between the couple as well, which causes equal amounts of excitement and panic. Can Carter convince Molly to stay or will Molly run again to protect her heart, yet unknowingly leaving it behind…with Carter?

Holy goodness! This was an emotion-fueled roller coaster ride from start to finish. There’s so much hurt and brokenness between Molly and Carter. Watching them weed through the pain and deal with fresh new feelings really tugged at my heart. I loved watching the couple rediscover each other and fall in love all over again. It wasn’t an easy road to travel but necessary all the same. This is a wonderful installment to the series and I can’t wait to find out what Ms. Burton has in store for us next!
